We have observed that in remote, rural and semi rural areas though schools receive government-fund and aid, it is just not sufficient to meet the basic requirements of students in terms of notebooks, pencils and other essential stationery to proceed with education. Majority of students in these areas cannot afford these items due to the poor economic status, the children are often forced to drop out of school and be deprived of even basic education.

• Realizing the above we at RVST have identified certain most remote, rural and semi rural areas which include areas of Bangalore rural, Doddaballapur, Tumkur, Hosur (Tamilnad) and Lepakshi(Andhra Pradesh). In the beginning of every year we consult with the school authorities, identify the exact requirements of the students like uniforms, notebooks, stationeries etc...,
  
• Once we identify each school's needs, we purchase the material at the best market rates. The resources are then transported to the schools during the start of the academic year, and given DIRECTLY INTO THE STUDENTS' HANDS.
  
• In addition to providing the above RVST also gives merit gifts and certificates to all the bright and brilliant children from these areas in each class in encouraging them to continue studying.
  
• RVST also provides scholarships and fees to deserving economically poor and brilliant students.
  
• In this humble way RVST has been keeping up to its Mission and Vision in the past 8 years and was able to reach out to on an average of 3500+ students every year.
