Ramakrishna Vivekananda Seva Trust was formed in 2003 by a team of five who were influenced by Shri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa’s spiritual teachings and Swami Vivekananda’s service initiative. RVST is an independent body committed to serve our countrymen in need of service.

We started it as a small initiative through notebook distribution in few government schools and since then the encouragement received and trust showered on us by many of our well wishers, volunteers and increasing number of donors have helped us to extend our services to old age homes, orphanages, adoption of children, sponsorship for higher education, conducting regular medical camps in rural areas other than notebook distribution and much more. A number of new initiatives are on the anvil for future years to come like having a mobile medical unit to work around the year. The need for service is considerable, and we have already taken the first few steps to extend our helping hand in all possible ways.

RVST not only concentrates on service but also have taken lot of initiatives to create awareness regarding the duties and importance of values in life among all age groups. Our aim is to spread the message of Devine trio and all great souls which help us find peace and happiness within and around us.

The more we come out and do good to others, the more our hearts will be purified, and God will be in them.
